Here are the official rules to my first and probably my last contest! Your task? Design a unique set of wings for Vexorum. (Alternate ref HERE: [link] )

Guidelines:

You will be designing the form and markings of Vexorum's wings. You may submit an entry with just lineart 'skeleton', but bonus points will definitely be rewarded for coloured entries.

Vex's wings should be unique and striking. He's one-of-a-kind on Aquatine, and he is incredibly vain. Give him wings to be proud of! They may be as elaborate as you wish. Feathers are allowed, but only as decoration - not as simple bird wings. They don't have to look functional, but I'd prefer something large enough relative to his body to at least imply flight capability.

Here are the base colours to use (right click and save):


I discourage adding any extra colours, but it's not totally prohibited. If you find a great design and you want to add more colours, it will not necessarily count against you.

Judging: Judging will be done solely by me. I will not judge based on drawing skill but DESIGN. The more unique and fitting to the character your design is, the more likely you will win. People of all skills are encouraged to join. Imagination required

DEADLINE: The deadline is June 30.

The Prizes: Prizes may be modified depending on the amount of entries and if any more prizes are donated or thought up If you want to donate *any* kind of prize, it would be hugely appreciated. The more participants, the merrier! So send me a note if you're interested in donating anything, or have any ideas for 'articipation prizes'. And feel free to advertise!

First place: Your entry will become the permanent design for Vex's wings. You will be credited every time I use them in a picture or story. In addition, you will receive a THREE-MONTH subscription and ONE of the following (of your choice):

- A full-colour shaded digital drawing with my usual style of background or traditional drawing with simple/no background by me
- A digital shaded drawing with simple colour bg by =Ereshkigal234

Second place: (Choose)

- A colour digital drawing with simple shading and no background by me
- A colour digital cell shade drawing by =Ereshkigal234
AND a 1-month subscription

Third place:

- Digital lineart of your OC by me

Prize Pot - to be decided:

- A digital colour piece by (huge thanks!)

All entries, however many there are, will be featured on my front page for the duration of the contest, and I'll make a winner's journal when the contest is over.
